| Rommi was the
only male in this litter. He was the last one to born and he was 300g.
So quite big boy from the very beginning. He was mostly
quite happy about his life among girls. He used his "elbows"
to get what he wanted and to get the best place near mom.
At the age of 4 weeks he was almost double as big as girls
were. He wasn´t the first one to start open his eyes but
he was the first one who had them completely open. Rommi
had his first visit to vet when he was only less than
three weeks old. He cried quite a lot and was restless and
stomack was not quite ok. Also his growing statistics
showed some changes. So he got a special diet and he
started to have solid food about a week earlier than girls.
And that worked! After few days he was back to his happy
himself. When we next time visited our vet to get health
certificates before puppies went to their owne homes Rommi
was 7,5 weeks old and the result was: "Healthy, very
big and masculine male puppy." The special diet had worked
out just fine!
Rommi´s name came from his
funny hair style. When it was time to give names to puppies
Rommi had about 20 hair standing upwards on top of his head
and he looked like a little elf. Obviously little elves
come from the Land of Elves! And that is what his name
means. His home name means something else than elf, it
means "rom".
Rommi lives with Tiina, Matti
and a mustard dandie called Whisky and they live in Espoo
in southern Finland. Rommi´s owners tell about him like
this:
