Solakan Dandies

Mira loves people! Very very much and all and every one. Strangers, the one she knows really well...everyone! And especially children. :-) She wants to give kisses, jumps up and down and is screaming. She shows her love with a bit wild way so we often have to tell her to calm down a little. When she sees children se sees or hears nothing else! And Mira loves outing a lot. She is the first one to rush into the hall and trying to be the first one out of the door. And if door is not yet open she jumps up and down and runs backward and forward to make the door open quicker. For the first 50 meters we must try to tell her to hold her horses but then she settles down. When we come towards home she is walking really slowly...like a very very old dog. :-) No matter how long time we walk Mira would always like to walk more. She has really strong will to chase anything that moves. Birds, squirrels, hares....she sees nothing else when se sees those animals! Nowdays she quite often obeys the command "Stop!" but when she was younger she didn´t hear or see anythign else but the animal she was chasing at. She has never catched anything though. Not even a snigle mouse. She is not able to concentrate well enough but she tries to do too many things at the same time.

Mira is sensitive girl who does not like hard handed people or people who are shouting. She can be stubborn and she often does first and thinks afterwerds but what she does she does because of curiosity. She knows what she should not do but yet she has to test a little sometimes. When we tell her to behave herself she goes to toy box and takes one of the squeeky toys and runs around with it. And she also makes a sqeeky sound herself like saying "It wasn´t me!". So she is gentle and sweet girl and easy to handle.

Mira likes all dogs and she does not hesitate to roll on her back if needed. She can very well act like a puppy if she thinks that it is the best way to do. She wants to say hello to all dogs we meet and she jumps towards them and licks them. Not all dogs like this kind of behaviour but somehow Mira can always make them to calm down and not yet once she has got scratches in these kind of situations. She is the lowest dandie in the ruling order of our pack but she is happy there and does not want to be the boss. She does not even try to test if she could be boss. She is not like that. The only situation she usually growls in is when boys come too close to her sensitive spots when she is not in the season. She tells them to stop immediately! And then she comes to us and tells us what she did to them by making sqeeky sounds and screaming. She makes us laugh about dozen times a day!
